Dr. Ahmad Hamdan obtained his Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) in the end of 2012 from Aleppo University, and started practicing as general Dentist in 2013. He has treated a wide range of dental cases and has attended numerous hands-on courses to ensure high-quality dental care. His experience as general dentist gave him the chance to explore several dental aspects. He found his intrest in orthodontics through straighting teeth and drawing smiles.
In 2016, he commenced the Master of Science in Dentistry with a specialization in Orthodontics at Manila Central University. In the residency program, he successfully treated a wide range of dental malocclusions and misaligned teeth. By 2022, he had completed his PhD course in Orthodontics at Kyungpook National University. During his postgraduate studies, he received the Excellent Research Award from the Korean Association of Orthodontists. Additionally, he was honored with the Clinical Case Presentation award from the Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society for his exceptional orthodontic treatment of TMDs case.
Dr. Hamdan is an expert in orthodontics and retention. He was able to treat variety of cases including crossbite, underbite, open bite, deep bite, crowding, spacing and protrusion. He stays current with the latest orthodontic practices and techniques, implementing advanced treatment protocols. He is proficient using metal, ceramic, and self-legation brackets. He is also expert utilizing aligners and orthodontics appliances.
Dr. Hamdan is a member of the World Fedration of Orthodontist, the American Association of Orthodontist, and the Saudi Orthodontics Socity. As an international speaker in orthodontics, he frequently participates in dental and orthodontic conferences and workshops across Syria, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and South Korea.
